The Earn It! Keep It! Save It! Free tax return preparation is just around the corner and we are ready to serve you! The Treasure Island Homeless Development Initiative (TIHDI) will open its VITA Tax Site on February 1st, 2018 to prepare tax returns for people with incomes of less than $54,000.

As you start planning for tax season, consider saving all or part of your refund.
What will you save for?

Thursdays: 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

Saturdays: 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.

You can also “drop off” the documents listed below at any time to get your taxes done by a certified tax preparer, even if you are not able to be present.

What to Bring:

• Social Security card for each family member or ITIN number for each family member
• W2s, 1099s and other income forms
• Child care provider name, address and tax identification number (if applicable)
• A voided check or check copy for direct deposit of your refund (We strongly encouraged you to consider splitting your refund - save at least $25 in a Savings Account. If you don’t have a savings account, we can connect you with a financial institution that would best fit your need.)
• Name, address, and phone number of your landlord (to get the Renter’s Credit)
• Last year’s tax return (if you have it)
